I am a native Italian literary translator working from English and Portuguese, with eight years of professional experience and more than 50 books translated or proofread for best-selling and emerging authors.

I specialize in romance, erotic romance, romantic suspense, and action-packed fiction, including stories with dark or paranormal elements. From intimate scenes to fast-paced dialogue, I pay close attention to character voice, emotional nuance, and narrative rhythm, creating Italian prose that reads naturally while staying true to your story.

My experience includes both translation and the assessment and revision of existing Italian translations. Working with publishers, agencies, and independent authors has taught me to adapt to different voices and editorial requirements, maintain consistency across series, and handle sensitive passages and terminology choices with care.

I also translate children’s books and poetry from Portuguese into Italian. These projects draw on different aspects of my craft, from playful language and accessibility to imagery and the precise weight of each word.

I hold a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Milan and have completed specialist training in translation. I am a Full Member (MCIL) of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and a member of the Certified PRO Network.

Books have always been a central part of my life. Helping a story find its voice in Italian is work I approach with care, curiosity, and respect for its author.
