Charlie Swerdlow – Designer

Charlie is a painter, illustrator, graphic designer, author, and musician from Portland, Maine. He specializes dramatic realism, and in depicting sites & scenes from throughout world history. His work has been used in fiction, textbooks, popular histories, poetry collections, games, and more, and is on display in private collections and public spaces.

"I don't even know where to begin to describe how incredibly talented, intuitive, and friendly Charles is. I feel so lucky, and honored, to be given the chance to work creatively with Charlie. He quickly developed a better understanding of what I wanted and needed for my project than I did. I think that making art for an artist is a truly difficult thing to do. I am amazed at Charlie's patience with me throughout the entire process.
