Celine Culliford – Editor

Hi there! I'm Celine, an editor with 7 years of experience in the publishing industry. I was most recently worked in the Bloomsbury Children's Books team, specifically across their Picture Books, Illustrated Non-Fiction and Licensed Publishing departments. In this time, I have developed and managed projects for children of all ages and across many different formats, including illustrated storybooks, novelty, activity, chapter books, anthologies and gift titles.

As an editor, I like to take a friendly and collaborative approach, working with you closely to ensure that your work is the best that it can be, without compromising your unique voice and creative vision. Every author and project needs something a little different, and I would be very happy to discuss how I can best support you throughout your creative process.

Proofreads and fact-checks are my specialty - I have completed all stages of advanced proofreading training given by the CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading) and my colleagues rely on me for my near-obsessive attention to detail. If there's a dubious stat or a pixel out of place, you can count on me to catch it before you send your book out into the world!
