I focus on making each manuscript the best it can be in every aspect. When editing a manuscript I will make the author think about issues they may not have contemplated. As a writer myself, I understand that each manuscript is a part of the writer and I am sensitive to that while still nudging the author to create the best possible finished product. When proofreading a manuscript, nothing escapes my attention. I pride myself on being thorough and a bit obsessive.
