I am a copy-editor, line editor and proofreader of fiction with eight years' experience working with Head of Zeus imprints, small presses, and authors on editorial assessments, line edits, copy-edits, and proofreads. My main genres are sff, historical, and crime/thriller. I like to work collaboratively with my authors to ensure nothing of their unique voice is lost in the editing process. My clients come from all over the world, and I particularly enjoy working with ESL authors and on books that have been translated from their original language into English.
Inconsistencies in the content and the syntax, sentences that bump rather than flow, words that bounce the reader out of your carefully crafted world... it's not all about spelling, typos, and grammar. I love putting all my skill and experience into helping you polish your story so that it shines.
