Belinda Jones – Editor

Having worked as an editor for approaching 20 years, there's nothing I enjoy more than getting to know both the book and the author I'm working with, handling your manuscript with confidence, initiative and sensitivity.

I specialise in literary fiction, general fiction, narrative non-fiction and YA, usually working for a variety of imprints from John Murray and HarperCollins to Akoya Publishing and Hachette Children's Books.

Whilst I'm very happy taking on most types of long-form books, fiction of all kinds is my true calling – there is nothing I like better than receiving a manuscript, giving it a close interrogation and commentary, and finishing it with a last, careful polish. The process is always very satisfying, and one I ensure to make a two-way street, sharing my experience and knowledge with you, and always respecting your brief and goals.
