Academic Copy Editor and Proofreader with an emphasis on college textbooks, monographs, and anthologies. I've spent the bulk of my career in publishing, from early days in fiction at Algonquin Books to diving into scientific papers for PLOS ONE. Since 2015, I've had the pleasure of working for Carolina Academic Press on a huge catalog of academic titles. I'm great at streamlining content to help writers reach their audience with maximum clarity and impact.

Prior to publishing, I studied English and Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I'm a creative at heart and continue to explore my passion with classes at the Redbud Writing Project. The most exciting part of the creative workshop is helping authors find strength in their voices and storytelling. Nobody can tell your story like you can!
