Overview

After graduating from Harvard in 2017, I moved to New York City, where I currently work at W.W. Norton & Company while moonlighting as a freelance writer/editor. My first job at Norton was in the biological anthropology media team; I soon moved to the literature department, where I was promoted to assistant editor in October 2018. In June 2019, I became the associate media editor in Norton's history department.

I like to give authors plenty of wiggle room; it's important to me that I preserve the writer's voice while gently nudging them in the right direction. My strong grasp of English style and syntax allows me to conform my editorial style to the author's needs. I'm happy to do Skype read-throughs or provide detailed comments in the form of a Google or Microsoft Word document.
