I’ve been working in the publishing industry since 1985 (when my first translations were published), not only on translations but also on editing and translation revisions. I have translated books by (Booker Prize winner) Anne Enright, Leonard Cohen, Isaac Asimov, Pauls Toutonghi, Timothy White, Jerry Hopkins among others, and as a translations reviser I have worked on many more different genres (for example thriller and mystery) and writers: Annie Dillard, Jennifer Clement, Chinua Achebe, Wallace Stegner, Deborah Levy, Elizabeth McCracken, Ariel Levy, Howard Jacobson, Amy Gentry, Michael Cunningham, Michel Faber, James Grady, Rick Moody, Marina Abramović, Patti Smith, Jonathan Coe etc. for renowned publishing companies like Bompiani, Feltrinelli, Giunti, Garzanti, Baldini & Castoldi etc.
In 2016 I’ve been invited in Dublin by the Royal Irish Academy to take part to the panel discussion «Translating Anne Enright: Anne Enright in conversation with four of her European translators».
And I was invited to talk about my translation of The Authorised Biography of Robert Wyatt by «Festivaletteratura» in Mantova, and by «Napoli Teatro Festival sezione letteratura».
