The environment where I grew up taught me a passion for languages, Italian above all. I graduated in Italian literature to deepen my knowledge of it and give a foundation to my fondness for reading and writing. Soon after university I worked for a small publishing house where I put into practice my studies.
After a few years and diverse experiences I decided to turn my passion into a profession. Curiosity, love for studying and an inclination to meticulousness are the values which guide me now in my daily job.
I began working in the editorial sector, proofreading travel guides, then I moved for a while in the sales and marketing department of a big company.
After some years I decided to become a freelance translator and had the chance to start with very nice authors. I had a change of pace with the translation of Christina Ross' series: I'm not a very romantic type but I loved the mistery crime side and the characters, and it's been real fun giving them life in Italian! I had much fun also translating Colleen Cross': I like her books very much. there is a subtle humor that I think fits me.
Since now I've had a very nice relationship with authors I translated, and they've been satisfied of my job: I fulfilled their expectations both in timings and book details.
