Véronique Duran – Translator

I’m an experienced and qualified translator and editor with over 20 years experience specialised in children’s books, marketing, tourism, market research and creative material of all types.

I hold a Master of Arts in Bilingual Translation from the University of Westminster, London and I am also a Member and Chartered Linguist (MCIL CL) of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.

While I have varied experience working across different creative media, my specialism is translating children’s books.

Since 2005, I’ve provided freelance editing and translation services to Usborne Publishing, and have more than 300 books published for various age groups. I have also worked for Mantra Publishing (a company specialized in bilingual story books for children), Centum Books, Yoyo Books and Franklin Watts.
