Overview
After an education in literature and international business, I became a multilingual literary translator by offering my freelance services to renowned French publishing houses such as HarperCollins France, Gallimard, Bayard, Eyrolles or Phaidon.
Since 2000, I have translated over a hundred books, mainly in literature, self-development and arts, from English, German, Spanish and Italian to French.
My clients remain very faithful to me as they are quite appreciative of my work and I'm good at meeting deadlines without compromising quality - I'm usually the one they turn to in case of publishing emergencies. I am currently translating the autobiography of RuPaul, the queen of the drags, and I am thrilled about it!
I am interested in all kinds of literary genres: substance prevails over form, and what makes a good book is its author's voice and spirit, which I feel is my duty to translate as beautifully as possible.
