Hey, I'm Travis!

From cultivating debut authors to publishing original work, I've devoted my life to the craft of writing.

Earlier in my career, I developed books across all major sports, partnering with legends like Myron Cope, Leo Mazzone, and Dennis Rodman. More recently, with TrueHoop, I contributed to 120+ articles and provided structural feedback for founder Henry Abbott's "Ballistic" (Norton, 2025). In between, I spent a decade teaching creative writing and narrative nonfiction at a Beijing university.

Today, I approach manuscripts with a machete and a torch, forging a path from rough draft to publishable manuscript. You’ll get pragmatic advice, constructive candor, and enthusiastic support — all honed to reaching your target reader and putting your book on a shelf. Along the way, I also intend to elevate your confidence and enrich your craft.
