Overview
I am a Pushcart-nominated writer myself, with publications in both fiction and non-fiction, including work used in university-level creative writing classes. In my spare time, I volunteer for Future Engineers as an early-stage judge for educational space- and science-related contests sponsored by NASA as well as for Project Gutenberg as a proofreader and formatter. I am always excited to learn new things. I recently took a class on Old English and am currently working on a certificate for Literary Braille Transcription through the Library of Congress and the National Federation of the Blind.
When editing, I am dedicated to understanding your unique objectives and voice, and I treat all projects with the care and respect they deserve. I want to partner with you so that your ideas and expertise are presented in the best possible way without changing the inherent meaning. I am careful not to impose “rules” on your words without thought or understanding. Every change I make is backed by a reason, and it is always a suggestion for you to accept or reject. My job is to focus on the little details so you can focus on the big picture. I am always trying to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in editing. This allows me to provide the highest quality services that fit your needs and goals.
