I manage a number of C-Suite client accounts across a range of industries, including blockchain, science and research, wellness, tech, publishing, startups, and personal development. This includes developing thought leadership content topics and editing ghostwritten articles to post to clients' Quora and Medium profiles.
Nutritional Outlook magazine
- Wrote and edited coverage of industry news, trends, and regulatory developments.
- Wrote and edited monthly feature stories for the print magazine.
- Worked with editor-in-chief to produce ten print issues per year, including layout and design features.
- Conducted interviews at industry trade shows and wrote quality coverage for the Nutritional Outlook
website and trade show print supplements.
- Reviewed freelancer copy and made recommended changes using in-house style guides.
Macmillan Higher Education
- Began development on forthcoming editions of two best-selling textbooks, including review program
preparation and market development research.
- Created sales tools for a number of titles across three lists.
- Served as sole Development Editor for a first edition title, American Subcultures: A Bedford Spotlight
Reader. Conducted market research, ran review programs, facilitated rights clearance, edited and prepared
the manuscript for turnover, reviewed copyediting and page proofs, and prepared marketing copy.
- Worked with media staff to develop title-specific LaunchPad course management systems.
- Completed MLA updates for three titles on strict production deadlines.
- Facilitated communication between authors, remote freelancers, designers, media specialists, production
staff and others.
- Managed more than 20 review programs and ExactTarget campaigns under tight deadlines.
- Wrote and edited long- and short-form copy for sales representatives and the online catalog.
