Jennifer Prince

Jennifer Prince – Editor

I'm a skilled editor with a passion for all things written.

Overview

Hello! I'm a full-time and freelance writer and editor with a decade of experience in copy editing, proofreading, developmental editing, and magazine and creative writing. I am currently the Communications and PR Manager at a Memphis, TN nonprofit. Previously, I held the position of Account Managing Editor at Digital Press, a content marketing startup specializing in thought leadership across a wide range of industries. Prior to Digital Press, I was the Associate Editor (and staff writer) at a health and nutrition magazine, Nutritional Outlook. I also spent three years at Bedford/St. Martin's in Boston, MA (Macmillan Learning), where I served as Associate Editor. My areas of expertise included composition, rhetorics, reader, and literature textbooks for the higher-education market.

There isn't much I don't like to read, but I'm especially fond of fantasy and general fiction. I love helping authors create something truly magical—whether in a familiar world or somewhere new.

Prospective clients who work with me can expect nothing short of expert service, thoughtful and considered feedback, exceptional communication, competitive pricing, and a wealth of experience in the world of publishing—both online and in print.

And please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or comments. I’m always open to new and different kinds of editorial work.
