Stephan Zguta – Editor

I am an editor for Skyhorse Publishing, an independent publishing company in New York City that publishes a wide variety of subjects ranging from books on hot-button political issues to how-to guides and literary novels.

I have had the opportunity to work on bestselling titles and with award-winning authors in both fiction and nonfiction, and I am happy to work on either.

Regardless of the subject matter, each project I take on becomes a personal endeavor. My goal is to enhance a story, making sure there are no loose ends, and I always aim to keep the integrity of the author’s own writing style.

I am happy to work as needed either focusing on larger developmental and narrative elements, more focused and purposeful line editing, or detail oriented copyediting—or maybe even all three.

Working with an editor is a partnership, and in that partnership I put my best foot forward to provide editorial direction and feedback that will elevate the final product.
