I am a Brown University graduate with degrees in English and Philosophy, with editorial experience on the collegiate and professional levels.

I have been editing friends' essays and poems since my high school days at the Duke Young Writers Camp, and I've translated that into a career of editing and copyediting at the Brown Daily Herald and Post- Magazine at Brown University. I have extensive editorial experience in short-form narrative nonfiction and journalism.

In the summer of 2018, I worked at Delacorte Press at Penguin Random House and honed my skills for book editing on the Young Adult and Middle Grade levels.

As a student at Brown, I developed a syllabus for a new class "Philosophy of Sex" and subsequently served as a Teaching Assistant for the class. I am interested in and devoted to sex, relationships, philosophy, and ethics in fiction, poetry, and non-fiction alike.

All of the basics aside, I just adore books and editing! I'm deeply passionate about lyrical and poetic work, but I also make it a project of mine to read as many books as possible, so I would love to work on a full-length novel as well.

Nicole was great to work with! She was professional and kind, she gave me a lot of feedback on my poetry book, including style, form, grammar, and clarity. Nicole has a great attention to detail, she found all the little things that needed adjusting and had helpful criticism for me. She understands and enjoys poetry, and she was respectful of my style and poetic voice while still making the rig...

It was such a pleasure to work with Nicole. We had a very clear communication; she understood very well what I was looking for. This in turn helped me to better narrow my options and focus where I should. Already from the start of our communication, Nicole gave me key feedback. Nicole exceeded my expectations, she seemed to really enjoy reading my poetry and even picked out things I was actuall...
