Overview
Hi, I’m Svitlana, a book cover designer with 10+ years of experience helping authors turn finished manuscripts, rough ideas, and publishing stress into professional covers that feel ready for the real marketplace.
Most authors do not come to me because they “just need a cover.” They come because they want their book to look credible, fit the right genre, read clearly as a tiny Amazon thumbnail, meet publishing requirements, and still feel true to the story or message they worked so hard to create.
That is where I can help.
A strong cover is not just decoration. It is often the first moment a reader decides whether your book feels trustworthy, professional, and worth clicking on. My job is to help you make that first impression clear, polished, and aligned with the readers you want to reach.
I work with both fiction and non-fiction authors, including memoir, Christian non-fiction, self-help, true crime, mystery/crime, fantasy, and action/adventure. I focus on strong typography, clear hierarchy, genre positioning, and covers that hold up both at full size and thumbnail size.
I am especially helpful if you are not fully sure what your cover should look like yet. Many authors come to me with a general idea, a few references, or even a rough mockup, but they are not sure what will actually work for their genre or platform. I help sort through that, explain the design choices clearly, and guide the project toward a cover that feels intentional, professional, and market-ready.
Depending on the project, I can help with eBook covers, paperback and hardcover wraps, dust jackets, ACX audiobook covers, print-ready files, series branding, Amazon A+ Content, mockups, social graphics, banners, bookmarks, and other launch visuals.
My process usually starts with multiple cover directions, so you can see different ways your book could be positioned visually. From there, we refine the strongest direction into a final cover with clean typography, strong composition, and properly prepared files for publishing.
I care a lot about making the process feel clear and comfortable, especially for first-time authors. You do not need to have every visual answer before we start. Bring me the book, the audience, the mood, and whatever ideas you already have. I’ll help you shape it into a cover that feels true to the book and strong enough to stand beside the competition.
If you want a designer who will not just “make a cover,” but will help you think through the best visual direction for your book, I’d be glad to hear about your project.
