Overview
WHO IS THIS GUY?:
I'm a cartoonist, dad, neurodivergent weirdo, and winner of the 1992 boy scout pack #555 pinewood derby (I know, pretty cool). I'm the illustrator of Super Pizza & Kid Kale (32 p, Viking Books, 2022). I wrote & illustrated Dolphin Girl (Graphic Novel Series, Pixel +Ink, 2020-22). Outside of books, I've worked on shows like: Animaniacs, Spongebob, Bojack Horseman, and Baby Shark. I created the upcoming Nick Jr. Show, "Hamsters of Hamsterdale." Developing worlds and characters is my favorite thing to do, even more than winning pinewood derbies.
PROCESS:
I love to collaborate with authors. My dream client is one that allows me to punch up the comedy, has a unique point of view, and knows what they want. Comedy is my strong suit, but I excel at telling any story with bright, vibrant, wonky illustrations. Curiosity drives everything I do, so I can dig into just about any topic.
