Hi! I'm David.
I live with my family and our wonderfully lazy dog, Darla, in Decatur, GA, United States.
I have years of experience in illustration/ visual storytelling for children and adults.
I am a Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles silver medal winner, a two-time Emmy nominated director of the animated shows WordGirl (PBS) and Time Warp Trio (NBC, Discovery Kids, WGBH) and an Emmy winning director of an animated special for the Boston Red Sox about their team mascot, Wally the Green Monster.
I am currently illustrating the stories for the R. L. Stine series Stinetinglers (Feiwel and Friends) and my credits also include illustrated the YA graphic novel Storybooth (HarperCollins) and creating the Ghostbusters Monopoly Game Box artwork. Clients: Disney, Macmillan, Scholastic, Bloomsbury, Highlights, Adult Swim, The Smithsonian, Hulu and many others.
