Overview
I’m a freelance translator (English/German) with over ten years of experience in a variety of fields. Having worked mostly with story-heavy video games, I am well versed in translating fiction and conveying different characters’ personalities through dialogue and their manner of speaking. Over the last few years, I got more and more into translating books, mostly adventure modules for Dungeons & Dragons, as well as material for Magic: The Gathering.
As an avid reader, my first love is everything fantasy, closely followed by science fiction, horror, and graphic novels – LGBTQ+ themes and characters are a big plus. I translated two graphic novels for EVE: Online and EVE: Valkyrie in the past and am translating a variety of fiction in my free time. As a certified terminology manager, I pay close attention to detail and will make sure that common terms and themes in your project will be consistent throughout the text.
Furthermore, I’m a published creative writer myself, writing stories in English and German, so if you’re looking for someone who is precise, creative, and enthusiastic, I’m your translator!
