Overview

A qualified freelance proofreader and professional member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP), I have over 20 years’ experience as an information professional and five years’ experience as a proofreader. I possess a diverse range of skills developed within the academic library sector where I specialised in the fields of art, design and history.


I am proficient on a wide range of computer packages, have an excellent eye for detail, and take pride in working to extremely high accuracy at all times. I am able to work quickly and accurately under pressure and possess exceptional organisational skills.


I have worked for a range of publishers including Lund Humphries, Scala Arts and Heritage, the History Press and Facet Publishing, and work on both hard copy manuscripts and electronic (using MS Word Track changes and Adobe PDF).
