Well at Cameron+Company, my abilities to push design boundaries outside the box were utilized by the Creative Director again and again and again. This allowed me to explore and develop interior concepts to gather the necessary feedback from the clients to effectively reach their desired outcomes.
Working side by side with editorial departments taught me about consistency throughout, using text as a means to effectively guide the reader through the pages. I learned to set my artistic views aside and use the client's content to effectively convey the final feel of the project.
Upon launching a book product, one can expect to have an meeting with all involved to begin an open dialogue to gain a greater understanding of the book's desired outcomes. Concepts will then be created, showing examples of styling and formatting of what the interior pages might look like. Once the client has approved the concept, the work begins in building out the first pass at the interiors.
Cameron + Company
The primary focus was the digital packaging of book projects on the adult trade side. Create book concepts for covers as well as interior spreads for many of the adult trade titles. Attended project meetings with clients and all parties involved to ensure deadlines were met accordingly and on time.
