Robert Hindson – Translator

I have a background in Earth Sciences at degree and masters level, and have worked in the mining industry as a geologist. I have been a teacher for over 20 years across all levels of maths and sciences. I am also interested in history and politics. Having travelled widely in the Spanish speaking world I achieved an Intermediate Diploma in Spanish Translation. I have worked as a part time translator working from French, Spanish and Portuguese into English for 10 years on articles and books related to sciences and the environment. Between 2012 and 2017 I worked freelance for the following agencies: Adhoc, APT Karin Hertog, Capita Translation, AVB, Geotext and Transperfect.
