Rob MacGregor – Ghostwriter

I’m an award-winning novelist, author of both fiction (mysteries and adventure novels) and non-fiction books. My non-fiction includes self-help books (ie. meditation, yoga, psychic development), paranormal inquiries (synchronicity, spirit communication), as well as mysteries of the unknown (Bermuda Triangle, UFOs/alien contact.) Prior to turning freelance, I worked as a daily newspaper reporter, magazine writer and editor. I’ve been on the New York Times bestseller list (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) and won the Edgar Allan Poe Award for mystery writing (Prophecy Rock, winner; Hawk Moon, finalist). I’ve worked with George Lucas, (seven Indiana Jones novels), Peter Benchley, and Billy Dee many others in projects.

Working with Rob was great! What separated him from others - during the vetting process and the actual collaboration - was the amount of time he took to engage with the story's flow/composition/material. He not only looked at the structure and grammar but immersed himself in the pieces of the story that were missing, he then researched those pieces on his own accord and that was part of his contribution. He also was one of the most communicative and responsive professionals I have worked with recently; he double-checked his comprehension of certain topics or themes prior to editing/writing. I would recommend Rob to any other writer looking for someone who WILL take the time and effort with their story.

I turned an outline of a fantasy story by Abdullah Q. into a novel and upon completion, the author asked Chat GPT to analyze and rate the story comparing it to works of best-selling authors.

The rating was 8.7 out of ten, which pleased the author.
