Overview
I like to take every project personally, the idea is to impress my clients but also to impress myself. With my clients, I start by discussing the client's ideas on how the project should be approached aesthetically. I then draw sketches and, once you decide what worked best, I explore color and technique.
Right now I am illustrating two books that I wrote: One is a fictional story about a naturalist who travels the most inhospitable places of the world in the XIX century discovering new species from the animal kingdom. The other is an alphabet book that talks about acceptance and the broad concept of beauty.

Work experience
Self-employed
During my work as a freelance, I did an illustration cover for a writer in Spain. I also was chosen along with 20 other artists in my country, Colombia to do an illustration for a stamp commemorating the peace agreement signed with the guerrilla and the government of my country.
I'm working on a children's book in the United States. It's a book for kids between 8 to 10 years. The book is about building personality, growing and learning trough exploration and adventures.
