Hi! I am a Chicago-based designer with more than a decade of experience in the publishing industry. I love crafting visually stunning book packages that are rooted in market and trend research but stay true to your vision for your book. No detail is too small to be thoughtfully considered—both inside of the book and out!

I design across a variety of genres and formats. Understanding your design expectations, budget, resources, and deadline is critical to providing you an accurate estimate for your publishing project. More on my process below:

➤Cover design: I love to layer hand-lettering, illustration, stock imagery,* and/or beautiful typefaces to create highly-custom covers that are smart, concept-driven, and informed by market research and competitive titles.

➤Book interior design + typesetting: I have typeset hundreds of books in my career—each meticulously crafted to complement the cover design and remain in conversation with the author’s vision. Whether it’s typesetting a 100k-word manuscript or designing an interactive activity book, you can be sure every piece of text is rendered with care.

➤Map illustration + custom spot art: My illustration style is unique to the book and will be tailored to your vision. I love creating supplemental pieces that take a book to the next level: custom maps, data-driven infographics, collaged dreamscapes, or cheeky line art—you name it!
