Pandita Geary – Editor

Hello! My name is Pandita and I am a Dutch girl from Amsterdam with a Sanskrit name because my mum is fascinated with India. I moved to London to attend University and hold a BA in South Asian Studies from the University of London and an MSt in History from the University of Oxford. After my studies, I quickly moved to San Fransisco to start a job with a publishing company and while I am now back in London, I have not been able to leave the publishing industry ever since.I love books! Whether professionally or for personal projects, one of my favorite things to do is to work on a publication, ensure the author is happy with the text, and to see to it that the design is as best as it can be. I have been learning about as many aspects of the publishing process as I can but I am skilled in project management, copyediting, proofreading, and publicity. In 2016, one of the Mandala Publishing titles I edited and publicized became a New York Times best-seller and I have worked with several other best-selling and award-winning authors. I specialize in yoga and mind, body, and spirit books, have a history in working with academic texts, am particularly fond of illustrated children's books, but am open to working on any type of editorial project.
