I'm a professionally trained, highly skilled copyeditor who works with academic researchers at all stages of their careers.

I specialise and have extensive experience in education broadly, but my real interest lies in outdoor, environmental and experiential education.

Beginning with my work as copyeditor and typesetter for the International Journal of Outdoor and Experiential Education 11 years ago, I've been fortunate since then to have edited the writing of a wonderful community of incredibly passionate, highly respected and utterly inspiring outdoor educators in Australia, the UK and Europe, the US and beyond (check out my portfolio), not just edited volumes and monographs, but also research higher degree theses, research reports and journal papers.

My aim is to bring out the best in your writing, polishing it to the highest standard without losing your unique voice. I support my editing (as much or as little as you feel you need) with clear, useful explanations and reasoning, suggestions for improvement, and links to resources — a sort of coaching through copyediting — giving you tools to take with you for your future writing.
