Overview
I’m a seasoned development editor passionate about shaping commercial non-fiction, from memoirs and biographies to pop culture (music, film, and TV).
Over my career so far, I have edited a range of non-fiction projects – including Supersonic by Oasis, The Girls Bathroom by Sophia Tuxford and Cinzia Baylis-Zullo, and James Acaster’s Guide to Quitting Social Media. This range of experience stems from working at two of the big five publishing houses, Hachette and Penguin Random House.
With a strong background in illustrated books and proficiency in InDesign, I bring a keen eye for detail and design to my work. I aim to guide authors through the complex process of refining their ideas into compelling and market-ready manuscripts.
My approach is all about making your manuscript shine in a crowded market. I focus on creating a polished structure and a distinctive, engaging voice that resonates with readers. Whether you’re a first-time author or looking to elevate an existing manuscript, I offer detailed yet sensitive feedback and edits to enhance your work. I’m dedicated to each project, infusing enthusiasm, creativity, and precision into every edit. Accessible and approachable, I’m here to answer any questions and ensure a smooth, supportive editing experience.
I look forward to collaborating with you to bring your book to life!
