Overview
As a freelance web designer working with Squarespace and WordPress, I'm excited to venture into the world of author websites and help writers showcase their literary works online. I've had the privilege of working with many entrepreneurs and businesses, gaining valuable experience in creating websites that effectively represent unique brands and connect with their target audiences.
I understand that an author's website is more than just an online presence – it's a platform to engage with fans, promote new releases, and build a lasting connection with your audience. With my experience in developing custom websites for various industries, I'm confident in my ability to translate your unique literary voice and style into a visually captivating and functional online space.
I'm eager to collaborate with authors and gain a deeper understanding of their specific needs. From crafting an inviting homepage that hooks readers to creating dedicated book pages that entice potential buyers, I'll work closely with you to design a website that truly represents your literary brand.
If you're an author interested in working together to create your online presence, I'd love to discuss your vision and bring it to life through a captivating and effective website design.

Mind Yer Business Podcast
When entrepreneur Abby wanted to elevate her acclaimed Mind Yer Business podcast, she enlisted my help to create an engaging platform worthy of her vision.
The new website provides a home for Abby’s contagious enthusiasm and highlights the stories of perseverance from her impressive guests. Fans can access all episodes from Season 1 and 2 to revisit the compelling conversations.
The site also includes sections for the latest news, Abby’s background, and opportunities to be a future guest. With an uplifting design that captures the spirit of the show, it allows visitors to deeper explore the triumphs and insights shared each week.
It was a privilege to design this website alongside Abby as she takes her show to the next level. By capturing the energy and drive of Mind Yer Business Podcast, this custom site gives her growing community a dedicated space to gather, listen, and be inspired.
Auchtertool House
I had the pleasure of creating a new website for Auchtertool House, a stunning Georgian venue in Auchtertool, Scotland available for weddings, events, and more.
For this project, I focused on showcasing the beauty and history of the estate while also highlighting the modern amenities and conveniences offered. The site features:
- An inviting home page introducing visitors to the venue
- A photo gallery and virtual tour to display the sweeping grounds and architecture
- Details on spaces for hire and event services
- Information on the popular log cabin also available for booking

ShellyB Original is a unique furniture business that upcycles old furniture into beautiful and practical pieces. Founded by Michelle, a physiotherapist who turned to upcycling as a creative outlet, ShellyB Original offers a wide range of one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture at affordable prices.
The goal for the website was to showcase their beautiful upcycled furniture and allow customers to easily shop the latest pieces.

Madison Rose Bridal, a bridal studio local to me, underwent a re-branding and moved to new premises. They needed a new website to showcase their beautiful wedding dresses, including a dedicated section for Mother of the Bride/Groom and Occasion Wear.
