I'm Nick, situated on the borders of Wimbledon and Kingston in SW London. I've been a Senior Freelance Designer since 1992 working with many of the largest (and smallest!) publishers in London. I have extensive experience in the design of integrated, illustrated books and book covers and designed lead titles tied-in with major film releases, companion books to TV series, and books for authors who self-publish.My years in publishing and the design industry have given me a very client centred approach to what I do and going the extra mile to achieve the best result comes as standard. Before I start on your project, we'll have a meeting or detailed telephone conversation outlining all your projects areas. We'll discuss the look and feel to be achieved in the book and the design approach you would like me to take. We'll establish your preferred time-frame and budget and touch on other considerations, like fonts or design trends that might be relevant to the content of your book. When I fully understand the book and your vision of it, I'll send you a detailed estimate so you can see the cost of the design. At this point, you can decide to go ahead with my services or not!
