Hello! I'm Jonathan an illustrator based in sunny California. I have 8 years of experience painting and composing effective images for all kinds of projects and clients. I graduated from California State University Long Beach with a focus on illustration and was awarded excellence in visual design which has aided in my understanding of what it takes to create a successful image from concept to finished piece.
My position will be one that bridges your idea to your audience in a way that captures their attention and delights the viewer. I'm interested in all kinds of books, and it is my aim to tailor my skills to your specific needs.
Knowing details like the level of complexity, project scope, length of time, deadlines, resources, budget, and limitations will aid in the estimation of your project. Generally, a longer timeline and generous budget will allow for more complex work while a shorter turnaround and conservative budget will limit solutions.

Through my portfolio and network, I have been able to offer my illustration skills for book projects more recently as my time at University began to close. I have been able to utilize my academic and professional experience to create projects that are captivating and fulfilling, working with great people, and helping them find success with their projects.

Outkorr is my own personal art studio brand where I create original stories, promote art prints, sell merch, and share educational material. I exhibit this artwork at art shows, fairs, conventions, and markets where my audience can interact with the brand directly and purchase work they enjoy, I also publish my own work and create videos related to my creative journey.
Artology
While working as a contracted art teacher I created, planned, designed, and illustrated art examples for class lessons. I also taught classes of over 15 students and offered my expertise to promote student wellness and growth.
