My name is Daniel and I'm a passionate illustrator with 20 years of experience. I work with pencil, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I've worked for publishers, newspapers, magazines and direct clients from the US, UK, Australia, Portugal, Ireland, Brazil and Portugal.

I live in Brazil and communicate fluently in English and Portuguese.

My focus is children's illustrations for all ages and genres.

The style I usually adopt is very reminiscent of Disney characters with fun and bright colors. But I can work in different styles, whatever is best to tell your story.

I'm reliable, organized and committed to deadlines. You can expect full communication and transparency all over the illustration process.

This is how I work: First comes the brief, I need to fully understand the mood and soul of the book by reading the original and talking to the author. Then I sketch the main characters or one page, depending on the type of book. Next, it's time to sketch all the pages and then work on the final version of the illustration. Throughout the entire process, we will change and refining, aiming for the best result.

Besides illustration, I can also make interior and cover designs, and format for print, IngramSpark, eBook and Kindle Direct Publishing.

I can provide you interior and cover mock-ups to promote the book on social media.
