Overview
Hello, I'm Nathan Isaksson, a versatile writer, proofreader, and copy editor with a background in a variety of genres, from detective novels and fantasy to non-fiction areas like self-help, history, business, religion, and biographies. With an MFA in creative writing from Georgia State University and experience as an editor for Five Points: A Journal of Literature and Art, I offer a wealth of skills in proofreading, copy editing, research, fact-checking, and content writing. I'm known for my meticulous and detail-oriented approach, along with flexibility, reliability, and a collaborative spirit.
I've recently contributed to projects such as "Wingwalkers" by Taylor Brown, "Silent Parade" by Keigo Higashino, "A Thousand Steps" by T. Jefferson Parker, "Monkey in the Middle" by Loren D. Estleman, "The Vaccine: Inside the Race to Conquer the COVID-19 Pandemic" by Joe Miller with Dr. Özlem Türeci and Dr. Ugur Sahin, and "God is Here: Reimagining the Divine" by Toba Spitzer. Outside of my profession, I enjoy traveling with my wife and our six-year-old daughter, Persephone.
