Overview
My name's Nate, and I'm an editor with a long record of experience in the book publishing industry. By day, I work with CEOs and business owners as an editorial manager with Forbes Books. But by night (and weekends), I become a freelance editor who works with people of all walks of life.
Whether you're grappling with the structure of your manuscript or simply need a final grammatical polish, I can help. In my day job, I work with authors to review full manuscripts and give detailed feedback through developmental and line edits. But I also have a deep background as a copy editor, with years of proofreading experience.
I have generally specialized in nonfiction content, including such subjects as memoir, leadership, medicine, finance, technology, and more! I've also found a niche working on historical nonfiction projects, which is something I've always been passionate about.
Authors appreciate my attention to detail and care when approaching edits. I'm always prompt and up front about the work I'll be doing. I'm also careful to respect your preferences as the author. I know the manuscript is your baby, and my goal is to offer a professional polish worthy of a bestseller. I'd love to hear more about your project and how I can help bring it to fruition!
