Overview
I am an experienced and polyvalent literary translator with over fifteen years of experience. I have completed book-length projects for publishers in the US (Ginkgo, Princeton Architectural Press), the UK (Bloomsbury), Australia (Skomlin), and Switzerland (Helvetiq), and have also worked for a variety of indie authors. I'm an avid reader and also the author of two novels, and I bring the same passion for words and writing to my translation projects. I love working on books that involve research of any kind, or art and history. I love adventure stories, the ocean, a good language challenge, and getting to travel to new places in other people's writing. I was born in Japan, raised in the United States, and I'm now based in French-speaking Switzerland.
