Overview
I am a Madrid-based french creative designer, illustrator and entrepreneur. After working two years as a book designer in an art gallery and publishing house, I recently went freelance to start my own risography print studio and small press Sonriso Studio ( I am thus specialised in editorial and book design especially in the arts, design and culture.
My body of work explores a variety of mediums and disciplines from graphic design, illustration, to screenprinting and photography.
My work always tends to irradiate energy, vividness and positivity, embracing imperfection and surprise as part of the creative process.
I am someone with a very positive attitude and always a smile, always in a good mood. I am very passionate and enthusiastic.

Sonriso Studio is risograph printing studio and small art press in Madrid and founded in 2020 by creative designer Marion Bretagne.
We offer workshops and riso printing services as well as publishing our own catalogue of art publications in collaboration with talented creative minds.
We own a Riso RZ 200 and four colour drums: Fluo Pink, Blue, Yellow and Black. We can print in A4 in matt paper up to 200 grams.

Ivorypress
I am an editorial designer for an art publishing house and gallery based in Madrid. I mostly design artists' books, exhibition brochure from A to Z. I designed a book for artist Shirin Neshat that is currently in the selection to earn the best photography book PhotoEspaña award.
I am also helping with the design of three volumes, including typesetting a 800 pages book.
Self-employed
I have worked on very various freelance projects from creating the identity of a new cosmetic brand, to the logo for a singer, to the menu for a restaurant.

I was part of an artist residence in the summer of 2017, where I participated in the communal life of the house and participated to two collective exhibitions.

Improvisation 190220
Role: Publisher/Designer/Printer
IMPROVISATION N. 190220 is a limited edition zine by Miki Lowe produced in collaboration with Sonriso Studio. Created and printed over a single day, the zine is the result of an intuitive and spontaneous process between the artist and the risograph printer.
The publication is an eclectic, playful and poetic collection of photographs, drawings and textures by Miki Lowe.
Like a piece of improvised theatre, the project is about the process itself: a playful negociation between improvisation, what can be created on the spur of the moment and the possibilities and peculiarities of risograph printing.
