I’m Nicole, Nico for short.
Art director, designer, and Illustrator based in London. Born and raised in UK, mostly through Malaysian/Hong Kong Chinese home cooking. I love sharing my love of food through my illustrations. I take inspiration from nostalgia, emotive connections and everyday observations. I adapt my graphic design experience into my illustrations to ensure composition and layout is also on point. I love capturing delicious dishes in my illustrations that would make anyone drool.
Having experience in brand identity and ad campaigns—I’m able to retain my skillsets to develop visual identities in my illustrations to be consistent across a series or collection throughout the book. My experience in agency I have also worked across different clients and am comfortable in adapting my illustration style to fit the brief, creating bespoke styles to fit the right look and feel of the book.
