Overview

I am a writer and editor, with over twenty years of experience in helping others write powerful and convincing texts. As a published writer, I understand the creative and editorial process, and I will be able to accompany you. i am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I am available to help with different aspects of writing and editing in both languages. I have experience in education, academic publishing, fiction, nonfiction, and journalism.

I can provide an editorial assessment of your original manuscript, and I can help you in the developmental editing process of literary works, essays, textbooks, trade books, self-published books, research books, and articles.

I have been teaching writing at the college level for twenty-two years, and I know how to make a text more impactful, persuasive, coherent, and precise. I can tailor your text to a specific audience and can help you get a message across in the most effective way. As a published researcher and fiction writer, I know what it takes to write persuasively.

Below is a sample of books I have edited for academic presses, and of journals for which I have been editor.
