As both an editor and agent for many years, I have edited and sold works to major New York houses, including St. Martin’s Press, Simon & Schuster, Sterling Publishing (Barnes and Noble), Berkley Books/Penguin, Farrar Straus Giroux, and other dominant houses. I have also negotiated deals involving adaptations for hit Netflix documentary series and other production studios. I offer editorial and query letter critiques, as well as ways to target appropriate literary agents, and guidance for the self-publishing process. Still can't quite find my way around on the trains in New York City, but hey, we have taxis and the Internet.

--Way back in the Dark Ages, I served as Managing Editor of a weekly newspaper, bought by Cap Cities, the forerunner to American Broadcasting Company (ABC)
--Owned my own advertising agency, handling Fortune 1000 accounts for about ten years.
--Founded a resources site for writers and a literary agency. I hope aspiring writers can benefit from my experience. I know where all the rocks are, as they say.
