Margaret Morrison – Translator

I'm a translator from French to English with a BA from Cambridge, an MA in French , Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation, and many years of experience.

See below for the range of translated books I've had published: recently I've specialised in teen/YA books and bande dessinée, especially non-fiction graphic books.

I'm familiar with working in a business environment so I can combine a professional approach with good technical knowledge of translation, and a great style in English.

In addition to translating books I've also revised and assessed texts written by non-native speakers. I'm used to working both direct with authors and with publishers.

I'm comfortable with technical subjects, familiar with literature, unshockable, proud to have attention to detail and possessed of a vast general knowledge!
