Overview

I've worked in book publishing for thirty-five years, spending time at scholarly, trade, and educational presses over the course of my career. I still work for a university press as my day job but I also do editing, proofreading, and indexing on the side, and I'm proud to say I've never missed a deadline. Recent highlights have included copyediting books on transgender identity and climate change; proofreading a memoir about the founder of Austin's Armadillo World Headquarters and a book about autobiographical comics; and indexing books on the history of the Environmental Protection Agency, race as represented on Broadway, and the poet Seamus Heaney.
