I've made a living in many media roles: editor, ghostwriter, instructor, playwright, screenwriter, and TV staff writer. I've had many books traditionally published about how to make it as a writer or screenwriter. More than one of those books are known worldwide. I don't just write them; I get others published. For example, as an editor and packager, I put together The Ultimate Guide to Video Game Writing & Design.
I've edited as many books for others as I've had published on my own. Check out the audiobook American Dog on Amazon that I edited as a novel, produced as an audiobook, and did all the voices including the canine narrator.
I co-founded the Ask A Screenwriter "space" on Quora which grew from zero to over 600,000 followers after one year. Now I'm concentrating on my own books, and so I quit giving free advice there but I answer emails constantly about how to succeed as a writer.
NOTE: All books listed in my portfolio that have no tag is because I wrote or ghost-wrote them.
I help people on Reedsy on occasion because it's a great site and service.

I've edited a Hollywood entertainment magazine, produced and directed plays, made instructional videos, sold screenplays, served as the Hollywood correspondent for Boys Life, been a staff writer for a UPN kids show, published young adult novels and non–fiction series, and taught an online screenwriting course that was available in 1,500 schools. I've published almost 50 books.
