Overview
I'm here to do what I love most: helping stories find their truest form. After years in publishing, I realigned my career to create a space where writers can feel supported, seen, and encouraged as they grow. Whether you’re seeking mentorship, editorial guidance, or support as a bilingual storyteller, I’m here to walk alongside you with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for your voice.
During my eight-year tenure at Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, I acquired and edited the Newbery and Pura Belpré Honor Book A Sea of Lemon Trees by María Dolores Aguila, Pura Belpré Honor Book The Coquíes Still Sing by Karina Nicole Gonzales and Krystal Quiles, and its Spanish edition, Los coquíes aun cantan, translated by Amparo Ortiz, the Hispanic Star series created by Claudia Romo Edelman and the We Are All Human Foundation, and many more. I also collaborated on the development of Vanya and the Wild Hunt (Vanya Vallen Adventures) by Sangu Mandanna, and provided support on What Beauty There Is by Cory Anderson, The Ones We’re Meant to Find and the Kingdom of Three duology by Joan He, among others.
A life-long reader, I love stories that are emotionally resonant and engaging, with complex parent-child and sibling relationships, and mental health themes, especially surrounding Anxiety and Depression. I have a B.A. in Communications and English from Loyola University Maryland, and a Masters in Publishing from New York University.
