I am a seasoned copy editor with experience in commercial fiction and nonfiction. Early in my career, I was on staff at G. P. Putnam's Sons and later worked full-time at Reader's Digest magazine. These days, I do freelance copy editing and proofreading for a few imprints at Penguin Random House, and I am eager to work with writers from all backgrounds and experience levels.
My preference is for thoughtful and compelling fiction, but I am open to all sorts of assignments. I have an eye for consistency and continuity, and I never miss a deadline.
