Overview
Hi there!
My name is Lee and I have been a professional writer in TV and film for the past three decades. I'm originally from New York City, and I moved to Los Angeles to attend USC's School of Cinematic Arts in the early 90's. I got my first professional writing job in 2001 as a Staff Writer for comedian Wayne Brady. In 2003 I won an Emmy Award for my work with Wayne.
For 11 years, I was the Writer and Co-Executive Producer of the hit show “The Soup”. Since then, I have written and directed television shows and feature films for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, ABC, and Disney. Throughout my career, I’ve been immersed in the world of storytelling, in both comedy and drama. It's what I truly love to do.
I’d like to help your manuscript, screenplay, graphic novel, or any other type of written work reach its fullest potential. I can offer comprehensive notes on everything from narrative, to structure, to prose, and make sure the author’s intent is truly shining through. I love collaboration, and have a reputation for being patient and thorough. I look forward to working with you and helping your work be the absolute best it can be.
I live in Los Angeles with my wife and two teenage daughters. I enjoy the craft of writing, and playing drums. In fact, I am a lifelong musician and am a total music geek, so I am well-versed in the history 20th (and 21st) Century music. I’m also a certified wine snob, but I will not be drinking while reviewing your work. ;-)
Get in touch and let’s make something great!
