Overview
I've been working in publishing since 2012, when I started my MA in Publishing. Before that, I worked as an actuary, so I'd love to be able to put my background in mathematics and finance to good use. So far, I've worked on scientific textbooks and monographs, tourism textbooks, physics journals, and ELT courses, with the majority of my freelance work in ELT.
I love the idea of connecting authors to the world, and I've found my best contribution to that aim is in the detail work. I like to keep the author's voice intact while cleaning up the piece. The author is my hero, and I like to work to connect them seamlessly to the reader by removing distractions like errors, confusing wording, and style inconsistencies.
