I am a creative, experienced professional able to capture the nuances, emotional vibe and style of the author and reflect them into my native language as if it was originally written in Italian. After 8 years working for an Italian publishing house specialized in gastronomy books and travel guides, I know all the tips and tricks to make your book ready for publication. Having also worked as an editor, I have a trained eye for spotting typos and I am well aware of the quality expected in publishing. To this, I add passion. I simply love books. I read all the time and whenever I can. Reading inspires me to find the right words, style and voice for your thoughts. To date, my literary translations include Night of the Purple Moon, Colony East and Generation M, a successful dystopian trilogy for young adults by American author Scott Cramer. I was also selected and published as a finalist in a translation contest with my translation of the short story The Loss by English writer and poet David Constantine. I love reading (therefore translating!) young adult novels, thrillers and mysteries, science fiction and children’s literature.

I worked as an in-house translator, proofreader and editor for Guido Tommasi Editore, an Italian publisher specialized in gastronomy books. I was also responsible for the proofreading of a series of luxury travel guides as well as the translation of 4 titles.
I was in charge of overseeing the entire book production process, from quotation requests to the final approval of ozalids before going to print.
