Kathleen Capetta – Editor

I'm an experienced editor who knows the publishing process from start to finish and can help make your next book or article a success.

Overview

I've spent my entire career in publishing in various editorial positions. From my experience working at a literary agency, Random House, and a major regional magazine, I have developed a great eye for what makes a compelling read. The most important element to any project is how you connect to your readers — how you cut through all the noise of modern life and make them care.
Here's what I can bring to your next project:
- professional, deadline oriented service
- a no b.s. seasoned opinion on how to find your "hook" whether for a book or article
- honest and detailed feedback on structure and overall concept
- advice on finding the voice of the project and keeping it consistent throughout
- enthusiastic brainstorming and concepting of ideas
- holistic project thinking so you don't just publish but achieve financial and other goals

I absolutely love collaborating with passionate writers to craft their best work. If you want honest, constructive feedback from an experienced editor please reach out and let's discuss how I can help.
